We are looking for a motivated and organised Clerical Assistant to join our dedicated team in the Llantrisant Dialysis Unit.
Llantrisant Dialysis Unit is a dynamic 21 station unit providing haemodialysis treatment for 84 patients in partnership with the NHS Trust. The unit operates safe staffing with a protected 3:1 patient to nurse ratio.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills looking to contribute to a clinical team in a patient-focused environment.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday.
Location: Llantrisant Dialysis Unit, Unit 14, Llantrisant Business Park, Pontyclun CF72 8LF
. Free parking available on site.
- A ct as a receptionist, dealing with first-line telephone enquiry.
- Input data onto systems as required e.g. patient activity, clinical results.
- Liaise with transport and other departments, both within the hospital and externally.
- Gather information and prepare standard reports – blood results, inpatient days etc.
- Assist the dialysis unit manager with correspondence.
- Prepare and coordinate the clerical correspondence between the unit Consultant and General Practitioners.
- Previous clerical or administrative experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident using IT systems (Microsoft word and excel).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment.
