Optimize Cenovus’s thermal assets as a Staff Operations Engineer in Lloydminster or Calgary. Your expertise will enhance SAGD facility performance and reliability while ensuring profitable operations.
In this pivotal role, you'll drive technical leadership for surface assets and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities include optimizing facility performance, troubleshooting across thermal assets, and promoting safety initiatives. Engage with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to support strategic initiatives that maximize asset value and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize Thermal SAGD facility performance and throughput
• Provide operational support across multiple thermal assets
• Lead safety activities and process hazard analyses
• Partner on monthly P&L reviews and production metrics
• Support engineering for repairs and new installations
Requirements:
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
• Post-secondary in Chemical Engineering
• P. Eng. designation or eligibility
• Minimum 12+ years relevant experience
• Experience in SAGD operations preferred
