Steward Position at Fairmont Chateau

Our team is seeking dedicated Stewards who are passionate about maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen. Although previous experience is an asset, it's not required, as we prioritize motivation and a strong work ethic. You'll be working in a dynamic environment alongside culinary talent, contributing significantly to our hospitality endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial grade cleaning machinery and tools

• Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen areas

• Assist with culinary prep under chefs’ guidance

• Perform general cleaning tasks like mopping and scrubbing

• Lift and handle 20-30 lbs as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning or food service is a plus

• Self-motivated with strong communication skills

• Physically capable of bending, lifting, and standing for long periods

• Availability for full-time employment and accommodations provided

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
