Part-Time Municipal Worker in Lloydminster

Join the City of Lloydminster as a part-time Municipal Worker, focusing on building maintenance and custodial services. Ensure the highest standards of facility operation and safety.

This role reports to the Supervisor, Custodial, as part of the Building Services team. You will be responsible for daily maintenance tasks, cleaning, and assisting in special events across various city-owned facilities. Your expertise will support both the facility's upkeep and the training of Municipal Worker 1 staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and clean various floor types using automatic scrubbers

• Perform general building checks and safety inspections

• Clean and service bathrooms, offices, and common areas

• Handle event setup and assist in moving equipment

• Document maintenance activities and report issues

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or GED required

• One year of custodial experience mandatory

• Certified Custodial Technician course completion required

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License in Alberta or Saskatchewan

• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
