Custodian at NSBSD Facilities

Support the cleanliness and maintenance of NSBSD facilities as a Custodian. Engage in various semi-skilled tasks while ensuring safety and compliance throughout the school year.

As a Custodian for the North Slope Borough School District (NSBSD), you will help maintain district facilities in a safe and clean condition. This role requires a high school diploma and three months of relevant experience or training. You must possess effective communication skills and be able to follow safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of all district facilities

• Support the storage and maintenance of property

• Restock and organize materials as needed

• Help implement the preventative maintenance program

• Report safety hazards and damages to authorities

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Three months related experience or training

• Valid Class D Alaska driver's license may be required

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

• Preference for Inupiaq speakers and cultural experience

Contribute to the safety and upkeep of NSBSD facilities through dedicated custodial support.
