Become a key player at Avenue Living Residential as an Assistant Property Manager, where you will manage property leasing and cultivate resident engagement. This full-time role focuses on effective maintenance and budget oversight.
In this eighteen-month contract role, the Assistant Property Manager will support the Residential Portfolio Manager in various aspects, including managing leasing processes, renewal activities, and maintenance issues. Candidates should bring a blend of management experience and financial insight to maintain high standards in community living.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate actively in the leasing and showing process
• Manage renewal offers and compliance efforts
• Support collection processes for timely payments
• Conduct suite assessments and manage inventory
• Oversee resident inquiries and coordinate repairs
Requirements:
• Previous experience in property management is an asset
• Financial literacy related to budgeting is essential
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• A clean driver’s abstract is mandatory
• Must complete a criminal background check
