Position: Class 1 Local Driver for Manitoulin Transport
Location: Provost

In this position, you will focus on efficiently delivering and picking up freight from Monday to Friday, starting at 6 AM. Responsibility includes ensuring the secure handling of freight, conducting pre and post-trip inspections, and using ELDs for service tracking. Flexibility is necessary to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely delivery and pick-up of freight

• Conduct essential vehicle inspections

• Secure loads for transport and pickups

• Document delivery issues via handheld device

• Support dock operations as needed

Requirements:

• Class 1 license is mandatory

• Minimum 1 year of delivery experience

• Must be reliable and dependable

• Knowledge of local routes is beneficial

• Willingness to relocate to Provost if necessary
