Strathcona Resources Ltd. is looking for a Plant Operator to enhance their Thermal Operations team in Lloydminster. Ideal candidates are 1st or 3rd Class Power Engineers with experience in Thermal SAGD operations. Your responsibilities will include operating thermal equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining accurate operational logs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor thermal processing systems safely and efficiently

• Perform inspections and data collection for operational decisions

• Support stable plant operations to achieve production goals

• Address upset conditions quickly to minimize downtime

• Lead during emergency drills and promote safety initiatives

Requirements:

• Third-Class Power Engineering Certification required

• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience

• Familiarity with OTSGs and thermal oil wells

• Strong problem-solving skills in dynamic conditions

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
