Rail Seasonal Relief Operator

Become a Seasonal Relief Operator in Rail at our Lloydminster Refinery. Focus on safe rail-loading of molten asphalt and other bulk commodities while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

As a key operator under the Backup Day Shift Supervisor, you will engage in loading operations, equipment maintenance, and emergency response. This position requires a proactive approach to safely manage railcar loading and compliance with operational standards. The successful candidate must be prepared for varied working conditions and possess relevant industrial experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load railcars with molten asphalt and bulk commodities

• Follow daily work instructions and safety protocols

• Prepare equipment for maintenance and issue work permits

• Act as First Responder during emergencies

• Comply with HS&E standards and ISO 9001 requirements

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in Canada

• 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate

• 3–5 years industrial experience

• Skilled in railway operations with a valid forklift ticket

• Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
