We are seeking an experienced Freelance Civils Site Manager to oversee a civils and groundworks project on the outskirts of Edinburgh. This is a short-term contract role, ideal for a hands-on manager with strong groundworks experience.

• Day-to-day management of site operations
• Coordinating groundworks and civils activities
• Managing subcontractors and direct labour
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
• Maintaining site records, RAMS, and daily reports
• Liaising with the project manager, engineers, and suppliers
• Ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations

• Proven experience as a Civils / Groundworks Site Manager
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, earthworks, and associated civils
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)
• Ability to manage short-term programmes and fast-paced works
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Right to work in the UK

• Freelance contract (6-8 weeks)
• Competitive day rate (dependent on experience)
