Following an initial training period on the day shift, you'll move onto a permanent afternoon shift where you'll manufacture a wide range of steel products, producing high-quality finished components while working as part of an experienced production team.

The work you produce will help create essential highway infrastructure used across the UK, where precision, quality and safety matter every single day.

Your responsibilities as Welder Fabricator
  • Fabricate steel highway products and carry out MIG welding to engineering drawings
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture products to specification
  • Operate overhead cranes to safely move and position materials
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and production standards
  • Carry out routine equipment checks and maintain a safe, organised working area
  • Follow all health and safety procedures while supporting production requirements
What we/'re looking for in a Welder Fabricator
  • Previous steel fabrication and MIG welding experience
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience operating overhead cranes
  • Strong understanding of quality standards within a fabrication environment
  • Good knowledge of health and safety procedures within manufacturing
Working hours Training:
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm
  • Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
Permanent afternoon shift:
  • Monday to Thursday: 3:30pm – 1:15am
