Delegating Nurse

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Delegating Nurse to join our team at Resorts of Augsburg. The Delegating Nurse will be responsible for overseeing the health care needs of our residents, ensuring compliance with all state regulations, and delegating tasks to certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and other unlicensed personnel.

• Assess the health status of residents and develop individualized care plans.
• Delegate nursing tasks in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Provide training and supervision to CNAs and other staff members.
• Conduct regular health assessments and update care plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding nursing care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
• Participate in the facility’s quality improvement initiatives.

• Current Delegating Nurse (DN) license in MD.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in MD.
• 1‑2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a long‑term care or assisted living setting.
• Experience with delegation in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of state regulations governing assisted living facilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
