No weekends or on-call required
Holidays are required as they fall within the schedule
Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope without restrictions
Successful candidates will have experience starting IVsFirst time travelers are accepted
Key responsibilities include pre-op assessment, pre-op education, and administering pre-op medications
Candidates should be familiar with monitoring anesthesia care and pain management
Experience with medication reconciliation and obtaining operative consent is necessary
Travelers are expected to provide high-quality patient care to various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics
Daily patient census is approximately 15
Interdisciplinary support will be provided by physical therapy, interpretation services, and radiology
Compliance with onboarding requirements is expected within specified timelines
Most locations allow for one contract and one extension before a mandatory break from the facility is required
Candidates must have required certifications prior to starting the position
