Customer Team Member – Home Delivery Driver

Oban Road, Lochgilphead, PA31 8NG
Pay: £13.04 per hour
Contract:
22.5 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part‑time
Working pattern: varied shifts between 6 am and 6 pm, including weekends, to be discussed at interview
This role involves delivering shopping to customers' homes. You will need a full UK driving licence and at least three years of driving experience. As a Home Delivery Driver you will be part of a friendly team dedicated to customer service, helping out in the store when you are not on the road.
What You’ll Do- Pick and pack customers' orders, then deliver them to their doorsteps, representing the Co‑op on the road as a safe and considerate driver.
- Ensure your vehicle is safe and compliant, conducting daily checks to maintain good working order.
- Lend a hand in the store when not delivering – serving customers on the till, restocking shelves and supporting colleagues with problem‑solving.
- Share new ideas and experiences with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in community‑supporting activities and events.
- Full UK driving licence held for at least three years and with no more than six points.
- Genuine concern for customers’ and colleagues’ needs.
- Strong people skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- A positive approach to change and problem‑solving.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
