Care home on the outskirts of Dumfries in Lockerbie

This role is a permanent Care Assistant position.

• Permanent contract 22-44 hours per week day or night shifts
• Competitive hourly pay rates of £13.45 per hour, potential up to £30,773.60 per year

As a Care Assistant you will oversee and maintain the care of the service users, and support the Home Manager, Deputy Manager, and Senior Carers with the general running of the service.

• Caring and empathetic nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to delivering high standards of care
• Hold a Care Certificate/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (preferred but not essential)
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience in care or willingness to learn acceptable
