We are currently recruiting a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our fast‑paced food manufacturing facility. As part of the engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving production line efficiency through effective fault finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
How will you make an impact?- Provide critical breakdown support across a complex 24/7 production site from conveyors to fully automated milk filling and packing equipment.
- Carry out planned, preventative maintenance and servicing activities as scheduled via the CMMS system.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose breakdowns using structured problem‑solving techniques and drive continuous improvement to improve operational efficiencies.
- Champion health and safety by adhering to safety standards, SOPs and participating in risk assessments.
- Support and lean into projects across the site, both small and large, actively inputting to site development and performance.
- Experience in an FMCG, Food or regulated manufacturing environment, working at pace in a maintenance engineer or similar role.
- Ideally you will be time served/apprentice trained as an electrical, mechanical or multi‑skilled engineer qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3/ONC/City & Guilds or higher.
- Structured problem‑solving experience, root cause analysis (RCA) and fault finding and able to work under pressure.
- Computer literate – SAP PM or similar CMMS system, Microsoft Office.
