Are you passionate about quality, food safety and continuous improvement, and do you want to help shape the future of dairy production at one of Arla's most exciting growth sites? We are looking for a Quality Coordinator to join our QEHS team at our Lockerbie site. This role will support our new production facility, manufacturing Lacto Free, UHT and Shake products for exciting new customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality, food safety and compliance standards across site operations.
- Collecting, analysing and reporting quality data to support decision‑making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assisting with investigations, root cause analysis and the resolution of quality‑related issues and customer complaints.
- Supporting internal and external audits while maintaining quality management systems and documentation.
- Building strong working relationships across production, engineering and leadership teams to promote a positive quality and food safety culture.
We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in quality, food safety and manufacturing excellence, who enjoys working collaboratively and taking ownership of improving processes. You may already have experience within a Quality, Food Safety, Production or Technical role, ideally within the food or dairy manufacturing sector. Experience with in dairy is advantageous but not essential.
- Ideally, you’ll hold HACCP Level 3, Food Safety Level 3 and/or Internal Auditor qualifications, with experience leading audits being a distinct advantage.
- You’ll bring strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of identifying root causes and driving corrective actions, alongside exposure to project management activities such as commissioning new factories or introducing new product kits.
- Most importantly, you’ll be proactive in taking ownership, collaborative in your approach, and highly detail‑oriented, ensuring quality, compliance and operational standards are consistently achieved.
