Position: HGV Class 2 Driver (Breakdown and Recovery)
* Job Overview
* We are seeking a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver for Breakdown and Recovery operations. This role involves responding to breakdowns, recovering and towing vehicles, and providing roadside assistance. A range of flexible work patterns available which can be discussed  will be an essential part of our fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are safely recovered and returned to service efficiently. Position is also available at our South Lanarkshire site at ML126TF
.

* Duties
* * Respond to breakdown calls providing roadside recovery and assistance for vehicles.

* Operate heavy-duty recovery trucks, including tow trucks and flatbeds, with precision and safety.

* Load, unload, and secure vehicles or equipment using appropriate tools when necessary.

* Conduct thorough inspections of damaged or disabled vehicles to assess repair needs or recovery procedures.

* Communicate with dispatch teams and customers, to coordinate recovery efforts effectively.

* Ensure all recovery activities comply with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

* Assist with duties or yard management as needed, including moving equipment or vehicles within the yard area.

* Physical capability to perform manual tasks required during recoveries.

Pay:
From £31,000.00 per year
