We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our care team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Success in this role requires clinical expertise, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.
Responsibilities- Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments
- Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns
- Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans
- Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing
- Review lab results and respond to signs of infection
- Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols
- Assist with floor staffing as needed to ensure continuity of care
- Holds an active LVN or RN license in good standing with the state
- Has experience in wound care and treatment procedures (preferred)
- Possesses strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Works independently and thrives in a team-centered environment
- Demonstrates a compassionate, resident-centered approach to nursing
