Overview

Retail Sales Associate - Part Time - 2545 pensation: $14.00 to $17.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.45 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are currently looking for the right Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

Associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. The Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns a hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The final pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Works with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training and other related duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers, be team-oriented, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling experience preferred; computer literate with POS systems.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance. Details provided during the interview process.
