As a Precision Machinist, you’ll operate CNC milling machines, handling setup, operation, and programming. You'll also work with CNC lathes, saws, honing machines, grinders, bridge ports, and EDMs.
** What You Will Do
*** Load, check, and run tooling and programs.
* Set-up and operate multiple CNC milling and turning machine tools and grinding using text and graphic information supplied from the CAD/CAM system.
* Monitor and maintain tooling during job run.
* Perform in-process inspection and documentation results.
* Support continuous improvement ideas and concepts.
* Support and monitor production tooling.
** What You Will Bring**

* Education:

** High school diploma, or GED equivalent.
* ** Machining Experience**:
Proficiency in operating FANUC machining tool controllers and CNC milling/turning setup, tooling, fixturing, and maintenance. Intermediate grinding skills. G Code Programming ability.
* ** Technical Literacy**:
Ability to read procedures and work instructions, and interpret engineering graphics.
* ** Inspection Equipment**:
Proficient in using comparators, indicators, micrometers, height gauges, precision squares, surface gauges, and other measuring tools.
* ** Physical Requirements**:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (1-5 times/day), stand/walk up to 8 hours/day, and differentiate colors.
* ** Communication**:
Strong verbal and written skills to collaborate with engineering, production, and toolroom teams.

** Compensation**:
The expected annual base pay range for this role is $20 - $22.50 an hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
