Job description:

Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc.is hiring for Production General Labor / Manufacturing Associate positions in Bolingbrook, IL.These arefull-time, temp-to-hire opportunities with a growing manufacturing company. We are looking for dependable candidates who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and want steady hours with opportunities for additional overtime.

Positions may include production support, catching/feeding, palletizing, shredding, material handling, and other general manufacturing duties.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist with general production and manufacturing operations.

Feed, catch, stack, sort, and package finished products.

Palletize, wrap, label, and prepare finished materials.

Move and stage materials throughout the production area.

Inspect products for obvious defects or quality concerns.

Remove scrap and non-conforming materials from production areas.

Assist machine operators and production teams as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all company safety procedures andGMP / Good Manufacturing Practices.

Follow food safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and quality requirements.

Perform repetitive production duties while standing for extended periods.

Lift and move materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

Perform other production duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred.

Must be dependable and able to maintain good attendance.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive work.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be willing to followGMP, food safety, hygiene, quality, and safety procedures.

Must be able to understand work instructions and safety directions.

Must be available to work
12-hour shifts and Saturdays when required.

Schedule:

Typical 12-hour shifts are5:00 AM - 5:00 PMand5:00 PM - 5:00 AM.Shift times may vary or be somewhat flexible depending on the department and production needs.

Saturday availability is required based on production needs.

Overtime opportunities are available based on production demand.

New hires may be required to train on 1st shift for approximately 1-2 weeks before moving to their regular assigned shift.
