Qualifications
  • A good overall knowledge of all trades:
    • Drywall repair and finishing
    • Plumbing
    • Carpentry
    • Tile
    • Electrical
    • Painting
  • Proper equipment – not necessarily having every tool, but knowing what tools are needed for certain tasks.
  • Troubleshooting skills – able to examine a problem and come up with a prompt, professional solution.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to communicate with management, office personnel, team members, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers.
  • Presentable: clean‑cut appearance, decent-looking and reliable vehicle, organized tools.
  • Territory: applicants should live within a 40‑minute radius from New Lenox.
Responsibilities
  • Look around the property and communicate to the customer about things that could be repaired or that our company can handle.
  • Take time to earn the customer’s confidence and then inquire about additional work that could be performed.
  • Sometimes take the time to fix something small, then point out to the customer how we are capable of doing more.
  • Be punctual, efficient, and maintain the highest integrity while striving for top customer satisfaction.
  • Enjoy being an integral part of a winning team.
  • Demonstrate ability and willingness to exceed customers’ expectations.
