About the Job

Ruan is hiring full-time Class A Shuttle Run drivers in the Lockport, IL, area to haul snack foods and tortilla chips in dry van trailers for our dedicated customer. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at  .

Pay

Get paid weekly and receive an activity based pay package of $0.49 per mile, $15 per stop, and $25 per diem for overnight runs. Average $75,000 per year!

Schedule

These shuttle routes offer a Monday
- Friday schedule with early morning start times, between 5-6 a.m., with occasional weekend work. Shuttles run from Lockport, IL to New Brighton, MN and back or Lockport, IL to Plainfield, IN and back.

Equipment

Drive late-model equipment sleeper cab with a mixture of no-touch freight and driver unload.

  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile .gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
