Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.
-5:00 p.m. | Saturday 8:00 a.m.
-12:00 p.m.

About the RoleM&M Recycling is seeking an experienced Non-Ferrous Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in our non-ferrous warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring accurate material handling, inventory control, and outbound shipments of non-ferrous metals. This is not a general warehouse position
--prior warehouse experience and familiarity with metal materials are required.
This position offers both a skilled warehouse career and the opportunity to grow into advanced non-ferrous, inventory, or leadership roles over time.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently
- Identify, sort, and grade non-ferrous metals (including copper, aluminum, brass, stainless, and alloys)
- Prepare material for shipment, including palletizing, banding, labeling, and staging loads
- Assist with outbound shipments to mills and export containers
- Accurately update inventory using company software and tracking systems
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scales, and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and material flow within the non-ferrous warehouse
- Support inventory counts, reconciliation, and documentation
- Follow all OSHA, company safety, and PPE requirements
- Prior warehouse experience required
- Scrap metal or non-ferrous material experience strongly preferred
- Ability to accurately identify non-ferrous metals
- Forklift experience required (certification or ability to obtain)
- Comfortable using scales, inventory systems, and basic computer software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license
Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing, bending, climbing, and working on your feet for extended periods
- Indoor warehouse and outdoor yard environment
- Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise typical of a scrap metal operation
- Required use of PPE including steel-toe boots, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Background check
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- OSHA and company safety training provided
