American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN with CA licensure, Epic proficiency, and ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications for a day shift position in a busy emergency department.

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required from an approved vendor
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of recent ER specialty experience required, within the last 3 months
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• Epic and/or Cerner experience must be documented in employment history

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to promote a safe and healing environment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior hit on license will not be considered
• Required vaccinations must be up to date per organizational policy
