American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure, Epic experience, and ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications.

• Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification from an approved vendor required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum three years of recent experience in the ER specialty, within the last three months
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
• Epic EMR experience required

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs
• Develop and implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and promote a safe healing environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers on care delivery and education
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members
• Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction, and local rates match travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• All required vaccinations must be up to date per facility policy
