Garda World Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer. This casual role will vary daily across customer service, patrols, or surveillance, demanding agility and precision.

• Applicants must be fully flexible and available to work any day of the week, including swing shifts. Guaranteed schedules will not be offered.

• Administer non‑contact temperature checks and health questionnaires to employees and visitors entering the facility
• Provide customer service duties: welcoming, verifying identity, guiding visitors, and enforcing entry protocols for anyone with elevated temperature or health risk
• Maintain safe and healthy environment by controlling access points
• Monitor and authorize entry/exit of personnel and vehicles through security gates and access points
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, building interior, production areas, and perimeter fence
• Operate and monitor surveillance equipment and CCTV cameras to detect and deter unlawful acts or breaches
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Document security‑related incidents, daily activities, and observations in detailed reports
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Documented High School Diploma or GED
• Holds a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) plus 32 hours of BSIS security training (additional training can be obtained during hiring)
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience – a plus
• Flexible availability: willing and able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, day and swing shifts

Employment is contingent on successful completion of background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
