Full‑time

• Perform skilled repairs of Volvo Penta diesel engines, Power Solutions International generators, and Marathon generator ends, along with voltage control and synchronizing equipment.
• Be proficient at learning and utilizing manufacturer‑specific software to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and control system problems.
• Facilitate technical support and liaison with equipment manufacturers.
• Perform scheduled, preventive, or predictive generator maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and repair generator issues as they arise.
• Conduct periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Work in potentially confined areas involving high heat, humidity, or cold.
• Follow company processes and procedures for verbal and written communications.
• Utilize current technology for communication, documentation, and research.
• Ensure safe operation of electrical equipment by enforcing company and industry standards.
• Safely prepare, operate, and maintain motor vehicles for company business purposes.
• Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of company management.

• Volvo Penta diesel engine experience.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• College or equivalent training preferred.
• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with all traffic laws.
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• Attention to detail and conscientious work habits.
• Computer skills and proficiency with databases and automated systems.
• Flexibility for a rotating on‑call schedule; must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for multiple hours a day and climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Integrity and effective work with or without supervision.
