Service Advisor

Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to be the primary point of contact for our medium and heavy‑duty coach, truck, and bus customers seeking repair services. Salary Range: $65,000 – 95,000 annually

• Communicate job status, description, and cost to customers; send repair estimates for approval.
• Secure payment for repairs per company policy.
• Assist Service Manager with Technician job assignments and oversee progress to completion.
• Ensure Technicians have necessary parts and supplies to complete job assignment.
• Ensure service performed is appropriate and in compliance with company safety and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain quality control throughout the process.
• Create final customer invoice with complete explanation and charges for work performed, and review invoice with customer.

• Good customer service, communication, telephone and organization skills
• Self‑motivated, dependable, driven individual who can work independently
• Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and coworkers
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask in fast paced environment with shifting priorities
• Ability to read and interpret technician writeups and summarize in a grammatically correct format.

• High school graduate or GED
• Experience in the heavy‑duty truck service industry preferred but not required. Willing to train the right individual with an automotive background.

• Basic computer navigation skills required.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the position, location, and/or customer.
