Manufacturing Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Performs integration and test activities on spacecraft hardware and support equipment
- Interfaces with other disciplines (QA, machine shop, contamination control, etc.) to deliver spaceflight hardware on schedule
- Must be a US citizen and have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and be SAP eligible
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to see projects through from start to finish
- Self-motivated, dependable, and detail oriented
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to identify problems that may arise and work through them efficiently
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work with other team members for completion of required tasks
- Occasional evening and weekend shifts when required for certain testing
- Applicable higher education or technical training
- Assembly and test of small, intricate mechanical assemblies
- Ability to support electrical integration and test activities as needed
- Experience working in a cleanroom and minimizing contamination during assembly
- Experience with environmental testing including TVAC and vibration testing
- Implementation of quality processes
$38,500 - $76,500. Salary commensurate based on education and experience. This range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role, level, location, market conditions, and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Specific salary details for a candidate’s preferred location can be provided by the recruiter or HR manager during the hiring process.
