Sage Ag has been a leading provider for more than a decade. We provide the following services: software testing and development, engineering, mechanical support, field testing, facilities management, factory installation, rework and support, worldwide logistics, and prototype equipment support.
Whatyou will be doing in this role:
Test Technician Level 1:
- Provide engineering and technical support including: data collection, field testing activities and diagnostics
- Operate Heavy Equipment (in-cab and remotely)
- Deliver test plans that meet customer requirements
- Testing software on machines and reporting issues
- Performing frequent software updates to test machines
- Diagnose and repair machine failures including ability to reproduce the defects
- Document all aspects of machines and/or products
- Monitor autonomous or semi-autonomous machinery
- Prototype and experimental machine testing
- Create training plans and train others on systems
- Support robotics field testing activities
- Ability to provide high-level customer support in-field
- Provide advanced systems training to include set-up, troubleshooting and maintenance
Test Technician Level 1:
- Degree in an Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Management Systems, or other related major.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is required.
- Strong technology and computer troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated and ability to work well in an individual or team setting.
- Outgoing with a positive attitude and professional presentation
- Valid U.S Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Ability to keep accurate & detailed records of work performed
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and ability to effectively communicate findings
- Ability to travel (Depending on project assigned)
- Experience in performing various vehicle maintenance (heavy equipment, etc.)
- Strong mechanical skills and intuition
- Experience in supporting/maintaining electro-mechanical systems is preferred

Compensation:
Salary range (70,) yearly, depends on level of experience
