Lead Trader and Portfolio Systems Analyst

Logan, Utah

$65,000 to $85,000 per year plus bonus and benefits

Andina Advisors is hiring a Lead Trader and Portfolio Systems Analyst for our Logan office. This role supports the CIO and investment team by managing trading workflows, maintaining portfolio models, building operational efficiencies, and helping implement systems that support our investment process.

• Trading and Portfolio Support
  • Execute daily trades under CIO direction
  • Maintain iRebal models and account settings
  • Process trade‑aways and work with Schwab to resolve issues
  • Support bulk cash raises and capital call preparation
  • Assist with structured note and T‑bill maintenance
  • Monitor trade alerts and help resolve discrepancies
• Portfolio Systems and Analysis
  • Help maintain and update model portfolios
  • Assist with performance reviews and portfolio analytics
  • Support development of internal dashboards and reporting tools
  • Assist with quarterly investment materials
  • Provide data and research support for the investment team
• Automation and Process Improvement
  • Use coding, spreadsheets, or AI tools to streamline workflows
  • Assist in building and improving portfolio systems
  • Support efforts to automate repetitive tasks and reporting
  • Help develop backtesting or model evaluation tools
• Operational Backup
  • Assist with Black Diamond reporting when needed
  • Support billing and KPI updates as part of team redundancy

• Interest in markets, trading, and portfolio management
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data
• Ability to learn systems quickly and improve processes
• Clear communicator who can work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a structured environment
• Curious mindset and desire to grow within an investment team

• 1 to 5 years in trading, portfolio operations, or investment analysis
• Experience with Schwab trading workflows is helpful
• Familiarity with iRebal or model‑based rebalancing tools
• Strong Excel skills
• Python or interest in learning it is a plus
• Experience in an RIA or asset management environment is valued
