Job title

- Primary responsibility to provide psychological testing.
- Assessment and diagnosing for treatment planning and risk assessment.
- Individual, group, and family therapy to improve client emotional and mental adjustment and social functioning.
- Individual and group behavioral management, including stress management, relaxation techniques, assertiveness training, conflict resolution, and behavior modification.
- Completion of mental status, competency, and sanity examinations.
- Division of Health Care Finance evaluation and completion of forms (M-20 and Form
1). - Consultation and education services under contract.
- Limited individual or group skills development.
- Participate in daily crisis rotation services.
- Provide minimal case management face-to-face or non-face-to-face as prescribed in CMNA: coordinating, assessing, linking, and/or monitoring through face to face, telephone, or written communication.
- Provide case consultation to colleagues and consultation and education services, not under contract, in the community.
- Complete up-to-date quality service documentation (time sheet records, progress notes, assessments, treatment plans) within 30 minutes of service.
- Obtain approval from immediate supervisor on all leave taken.
- Complete all exceptions corrections by the 5th of the following month.
- Attend supervision appointments and team meetings as scheduled.
- Maintain an automated schedule reflecting FTE availability.
- Prepare materials for individual and group meetings.
- Attend trainings within and outside the Center for job development.
- When assigned, supervise staff seeking clinical licensure, including case reviews, documentation, oversight of clinical treatment, ethical standards, and supervision records.
- PhD in psychology from an accredited university with a clinical independent license.
- Location:
Logan, Utah.
- Knowledge of confidentiality and ability to maintain strict compliance.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of mental health treatment and community resources.
- Teaming skills for effective interoffice relations and working with others in client treatment.
- Computer literacy and skills for operation of automated medical records, email, scheduling.
- Timeliness with schedule.
- Document exact and "to the minute" for billings and time sheet entries.
- Positive attitude related to job expectations, supervision, Center policies and procedures.
- Ability to behave ethically and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and staff.
- Flexible hours to meet client and Center needs, including potentially functioning on the 24-hour crisis rotation team.
- Conduct expected tasks in a safe manner, uphold Center safety policies.
