TheIT Specialist - Technical Support role is responsible for providing courteous and efficient technical support to employees. This position offers on-site support at the Logan office and ensures smooth operation of IT systems for local and remote staff. The role involves configuring and maintaining PCs, supporting peripherals, managing identity and access, and assisting with IT projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage tickets and provide desktop support for internal staff working locally and remotely.
  • Deliver quality customer service and technical assistance to employees.
  • Configure and maintain laptop and desktop PCs; support printers, desk/soft phones, and mobile devices.
  • Set up new hires with equipment and accounts; provide IT orientation.
  • Refresh employee PCs at end of lifecycle.
  • Support Microsoft applications:
    Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive.
  • Manage identity and access using Active Directory, Entra , and other IAM tools.
  • Provide audio/video support for video conferencing, TVs, and projectors.
  • Participate in IT projects and perform additional IT-related tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong customer-service orientation and proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 11 and MS Office applications.
  • Experience with identity and access management tools (Active Directory, Entra ).
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing Windows computers in large environments using Intune and Windows Autopilot.
  • General knowledge of network technologies (DHCP, VLANs, Firewalls).
  • Basic understanding of ITIL concepts and ticket-driven workflows.
  • Experience with thorough ticket documentation.
