** What's a typical day as Material Handler? You'll be:*
* + Maintaining accurate inventory across multiple warehouse locations and keeping them clean and organized.

+ Verifying, packaging, and processing customer orders for parcel, LTL, full load, and international shipments.

+ Preparing and accounting for all material movement documentation; updating the Oracle system accordingly.

+ Placing incoming and outgoing materials, including finished goods, raw materials, and supplies, in proper staging and storage locations.

+ Preparing materials for shipment via various modes of transportation, including LTL, TL, ocean, rail, and airfreight.

+ Ensuring damage-free products are received and maintaining accurate records.

+ Preserving material quality during loading and unloading activities.

+ Printing and collating shipping documents by order.

+ Responding to phone calls and communicating with other departments as needed.

** This job might be an outstanding fit if you:*
* + Have a valid driver's license.

+ Possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

+ Are able to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Are detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.

+ Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ Can stand, bend, twist, and move about warehouse areas for extended periods.

+ Are able to operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and scissor lifts (forklift certification or ability to become certified required).

+ Can lift and move objects ranging from a few pounds up to 40 pounds regularly (team lifting for items over 50 pounds).

+ Are comfortable using both hands to handle and manipulate inventory items.

+ Have experience with inventory control, Oracle, MS Excel, and MS Word (preferred).

+ Understand PPE, MSDS, and ERG (preferred).

+ Own or are willing to obtain steel toe shoes (required).
