The Aggie Chocolate Factory is seeking a Summer Marketing Coordinator Assistant to assist with marketing efforts, social media management, and event promotions. This temporary position is ideal for someone with some experience in social media marketing, basic data analysis, and event coordination. The role requires in-person work at the factory, with occasional paid travel to events in Logan and, in rare cases, other areas in Utah (excluding meals).
The position runs from May 1 to August 23 (end of summer break). Potential for continuation into the fall semester depending on budget and available positions (not guaranteed). - Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with ACF's goals.
- Oversee marketing campaigns, collaborate with managers, attend events, and capture promotional content.
- Create and implement monthly social media plans.
- Post consistently on Instagram and Facebook to engage audiences and promote ACF events and offerings.
- Produce engaging content for websites, social media, and other marketing materials.
- Promote ACF's culture, community initiatives, and sustainability efforts.
- Analyze and report on marketing performance using Excel (graphs and statistics).
- Maintain and decorate the ACF caf, ensuring it is stocked and marketed effectively.
- Serve as the brand guardian, ensuring consistency in messaging and event experiences.
- Review and approve marketing materials for brand compliance.
- Experience using Instagram and Facebook for marketing.
- Ability to read and interpret data in Excel, including graphs and statistics.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using a cell phone for work‑related tasks.
- Ability to travel locally for events using the ACF Minivan, with occasional paid travel outside of Logan.
- Must be 18+ years of age.

The environment and physical requirements may change depending on the specific function of the work each department performs. Incumbents may be in both indoor and outdoor environments. Indoors, in an office space, event space, or public space are protected from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Bending, crawling, and crouching may be required. Incumbents may be required to lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds and be required to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
