Overview
This full-time, one-year Ameri Corps VISTA position is hosted by the Public & School Partnership, and is based at Sunrise Elementary in Smithfield, Utah. Ameri Corps VISTA is a National Service Program. All Ameri Corps positions are full-time hours for one calendar year as mandated by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Successful completion of a one-year service term qualifies all VISTA members for either an education award of $7,395 or a cash stipend of $1,800 (direct deposit).
Ameri Corps pay a living allowance of $1,914 per month.
Member Duties : The VISTA member will develop systems and tools to expand community outreach and cultivate meaningful partnerships for Athletics United. They will build sustainable systems to strengthen the organization’s grant development and fundraising capacity, create a data-management system to support accurate reporting and continuous improvement, and develop communication materials, organizational policies, and training resources that ensure safe, effective program operations aligned with Athletics United’s mission.
