Job Description SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice care team. In this role, you will provide holistic, patient-centered care to individuals with terminal illnesses, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life during their end-of-life journey.
As a Hospice Nurse, you will assume responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. You will utilize the nursing process, incorporating advanced technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practices, and seamless coordination with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Your expertise and empathetic approach will support not only the patients but also their families, offering guidance and emotional support during this critical time.

- Schedule: Three weekday evenings 3PM-9PM and every other weekend 8:00AM-8:30PM . Rotating holidays and evening/weekend shift differentials available.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Pay Rate based on experience
- Incentives: Up to $337 annual caregiver incentive and a $1,500 referral bonus

Minimum Qualifications:
License: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Experience: RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.*
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
- Effective Communication Skills – Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare teams
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update July 2025. Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- One year of RN experience in Acute Care, Home Health, or Hospice settings
- Experience in Wound Care, IV Therapy, or Medication Management
