Goodwill Store Manager – Easterseals‑Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain

Wage: $30.50 with potential incentive pay.

Manage all aspects of the retail thrift store, including staffing, donation processing and pricing, sales floor presentation, and administrative oversight.

• Manage store logistics, inventory, and performance/goals.
• Handle the entire donated goods process: from donation door to production area to sales floor and preparation for outlet/recycling.
• Merchandise sales floor.
• Oversee production and pricing of donated merchandise.
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment.

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Oversee store management team and supervise daily operations.
• Require strong communication skills.
• Recruit, hire, train, and terminate staff.
• Work as a team to meet budget and production goals.

• Ensure adherence to organization’s policies and procedures.
• Provide regular and accurate reporting to human resources, asset protection, safety, finance, and other departments.
• Complete required safety assessments.
• Oversee store budget, staffing, and goals.

• Customer service experience.
• Experience supervising and hiring staff.
• Retail management preferred.
• Computer skills: email, intranet, metrics applications for data entry, Microsoft Word, webinar/conference call, etc.
• Budget management and tracking.
• Leadership, communication, organizational, and decision‑making skills.

• Able to read, write, and speak English to communicate with staff and customers.
• Able to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility.
• Able to lift and carry 20–100 pounds with team lifting or mechanical assistance; able to stand, stoop, bend, or carry for extended periods. Tolerant of extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
• May be required to work more than 40 hours per week.
• Will have to work evenings, weekends, and extended shifts to manage store needs.
• Have reliable transportation, a good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance.
• Pass DMV check.

• 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in retail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
