• Assist customers with product selection and provide information on specials and recommendations.
• Check product quality, review sell‑by dates, and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering or shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines and maintain temperature logs.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identifying unsafe conditions.
• Practice preventive maintenance and notify management of needed repairs.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

• Customer Service skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Retail experience is desired.
