• Customer Service skills

• Bakery or Deli experience is helpful
• Retail experience

• Prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use all equipment—including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens—according to company guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes using appropriate kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Label, package, inventory ingredients and merchandise.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness and review sell‑by dates.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and keep temperature logs.
• Promote trust and respect among associates and create a welcoming environment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations, guidelines, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents and safety concerns.
• Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment; manage conflict responsibly.
• Act with honesty, integrity and follow directions to resolve customer and business issues.
