• Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers, providing engineering support throughout testing, deployment, and updates.
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert, leading the planning, design, and modification of software engineering projects, and developing innovative solutions to optimize processes.
• Develop and support battery management software; define software requirements and architectures; generate and validate software code.
• Contribute to documentation and validation required for FAA certification.
• Mentor junior team members, provide guidance and support.
• Analyze existing software, strategize upgrades, features, or new platforms; translate business requirements into technical specifications; ensure project priorities and timelines are met.

• Strong foundation in C/C++ and real-time, safety-critical embedded systems.
• Familiarity with ARM Cortex-M architecture; on-chip and external peripheral driver development.
• Experience with bus protocols such as CAN, ARINC
  429, ARINC
  825, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
• Proficiency in software unit testing, debugging, and use of development tools (debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
