Required
  • Experience developing and debugging low-level software including device drivers, firmware, boot loaders, UEFI/BIOS, and peripheral interfaces.
  • Experience specifying low-level components, functionality, acceptance tests.
  • Ability to read schematics and datasheets and to work hands-on with hardware.
  • Proficiency with standard electronics lab and debugging equipment.
  • Strong, methodical troubleshooting skills across hardware and software.
  • Disciplined use of version control and change management.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies, methods, and tools to solve problems.
Preferred
  • Experience with power management, battery systems, or low-power design.
  • Experience with BIOS/UEFI, embedded controllers, or device drivers.
  • Experience integrating wireless, cellular, GNSS, and sensor modules.
  • Experience with rugged or battery-powered computing products.
