Job Requirements and Duties

You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards. You must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery and possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

• Orientation and training provided on the job.
• Communicate correctly in written and spoken form.
• Process orders over the phone and in person.

• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
• Motor coordination for rapid, accurate, and precise hand movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position. Walking: short distances for short durations. Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer’s location. Sitting: paperwork completed at a desk or table. Lifting: bulk product deliveries may require lifting and stacking of items up to 50 pounds. Carrying and pushing: carry large cans, trays, and pizzas;

push or pull trays on dollies. Climbing: occasionally navigate stairs or ladders.

Work involves varying temperatures (36°F to 90°F and above), exposure to fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces up to 500°F, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and adverse weather during delivery.

Stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, driving, and hand tasks are part of the role, requiring continuous use of hands and coordination. Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle are required for all delivery duties.
