Behavioral Health Adjunct

This part‑time teaching position is located at Ivy Tech Community College's Peru campus. Instructors will teach Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., primarily to high‑school students enrolled in dual‑enrollment courses.

• Develop and deliver course content based on the School's common syllabi.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grading in accordance with College policy, submitting required information in a timely manner.
• Provide office‑hours and additional support to students outside scheduled class time, liaising with program coordinators when necessary.
• Employ technology such as Ivy Learn and PowerPoint to enhance instruction.
• Notify program and Department Chair of any emergencies or absences in a timely manner.
• Foster a learning environment that respects diversity of individuals, learning styles, and viewpoints.

• Earned baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of directly related work experience.
• Certification or licensure in a health‑care discipline that provides care or service directly to patients.
