Join PARKVIEW HEALTH SYSTEM INC as a Medical Assistant in Logansport, IN.
Location- Logansport, IN – Parkview Logansport Hospital
Full‑time, weekday shift, benefit eligible. Eligible for a $2,000 – $4,000 sign‑on bonus.
Responsibilities- Assist with daily clinical and clerical operations of assigned physician practice(s).
- Collaborate with physicians and provider team to deliver quality patient care and communicate consistently.
High school graduate or GED. Completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility. Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through AAMA, Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through NHA, or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through NCCT, or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through AMCA. CPR required.
Experience & Qualifications- Medical assistant or physician office experience preferred.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations and service excellence preferred.
- Experience with computers and electronic medical record preferred.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
