Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
Responsibilities- Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
- Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
- Monitor progress and adjust supports as needed to help each child reach their goals.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure consistency and safety in all activities.
- Passionate about helping children with autism.
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test (if not up to date)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Pay Range: 19 - 25
