Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Histology Technicians to support the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System located at 11201 Benton St, Loma Linda, CA 92357. Services will be delivered to all requesting departments throughout the facility. Exceptional compensation packages with full benefits are available.

Responsibilities- Process tissues either manually or mechanically through fixation, dehydration and infiltration
- Embed tissues, cuts and do routine staining
- Perform specials stains and special immunoperoxidase procedures when necessary
- Fill in when necessary for the Autopsy Assistant for disposal of hazardous chemical waste and surgical material
- Assist with the processing of cytology specimens
- Perform other duties as assigned relating to the responsibilities of a Histology Technician
- An Associate degree from an accredited educational institution
- ASCP professional certification or equivalent Nationally-recognized Histology Technician certification or categorical certification in histopathology
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years - PREFERRED
- No sponsorship available
Pay Range: $28.06 - $39.41 hourly
All candidates must be able to:- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
