Helicopter Pilot (SPIFR) – HAA – Victorville, CA
Base Pay Range$/yr – $/yr
Compensation & Benefits- Competitive starting salary (including 30% Geo Modifier)
- $5,000 SPIFR Stipend
- $15,000 Sign‑On Bonus after training
- $40,000 Retention Bonus after 36 months in the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan
- Off‑Duty housing at the Victorville location
We’re hiring an IFR Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The pilot will be qualified to fly our EC135/H135 aircraft, working scheduled shifts of seven days on / seven days off, 12‑hour shifts, and day or night service trips. Safety is a core value; all pilots work as part of a professional team committed to high safety standards.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with medical experts to safely transport patients to and from locations and facilities.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, meeting all FAR and company requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record‑keeping.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Provide shift‑change information to successive pilots and teams following company protocol.
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 helicopter flight hours
- 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
- 1,000 turbine hours
- Minimum 100 cumulative instrument flight hours
- Minimum 200 helicopter night hours (aided and/or unaided)
Previous Airbus EC135/H135 or similar aircraft experience preferred, but not required.
